About the extension
Reelferry is a browser side-panel extension for reposting your own Instagram Reels to YouTube Shorts.
Reposting a Reel to YouTube Shorts normally means downloading the video, re-encoding it, opening YouTube Studio, and re-typing every field. Reelferry collapses that into a side panel that rides along next to Instagram: detect the active public Reel, review the details, and upload straight to the channel you choose.
It handles the tedious parts too — several channels can stay connected at once with one set as the default, a background queue uploads several Reels one at a time even with the panel closed, results arrive as notifications, failed uploads retry automatically, and a local history of what went where helps you avoid accidental duplicates.
Runs in your browser
No account to create with us and no server of ours in the middle. Your YouTube token and upload history live in your browser's local storage.
Your channels, your control
Sign-in uses Google OAuth so you pick exactly which YouTube channel receives your Shorts. Keep several connected, disconnect any one of them on its own, and its upload history stays with you.

Built for people who already post their own Reels and want them on YouTube Shorts without the download-and-reupload busywork.

Reelferry is a product of TCMHACK, which builds web applications, APIs, and browser extensions, and publishes web development tutorials. This extension came out of that work. Write to contact@tcmhack.com and it reaches the developer who wrote the code — there is no support queue in between.
